Levucell SC ME yeast is for use in pelleted feeds. The letters ME stand for "micro encapsulated" yeast. The yeast is microencapsulated to insure that the live yeast cells will survive the pelleting process. The microencapsulated yeast can be used in non-pelleted feeds if a feed mill that manufactures pelleted feeds and non-pelleted feeds only wants to stock one yeast product.
