Certi-Calf DFM is a direct fed microbial aimed at helping calves maintain a healthy gut environment.  This product takes a three-pronged approach to gut health. The first part is a high quality yeast cell wall, Certi-MOS, that has been selected for its ability to bind many strains of e. coli and salmonella, as well as stimulate the immune system. The second part is a blend of lactic acid bacteria that have been selected for their ability to colonize the gut and also exhibit anti-clostridia properties. The final part is a blend of plant extracts that have been shown to have positive effects at the gut level and help increase growth rates in calves.  Using these different modes of action gives the calf an excellent chance of staying healthy and growing to meet its genetic potential.
